Preeta Pereira is a Dance Choreographer, Performer, Coach and Director. She has conceptualized and directed Stage Musicals, Wedding Musicals, Showcases for Educational Institutions and Choreography for Music Videos and Advertisements.
Trained in DANCE from Terence Lewis Professional Training Institute & Aavartan School of Kathak, FILM CHOREOGRAPHY under Raju Khan, ACTING from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Lab and CASTING under Roshmi Bannerjee.
Her achievements include winning the first place at Zoom TVs Dance Show and her performances have been showcased at numerous Festivals around the world. She runs Preeta Pereira Dance Company (PPDC) in Mumbai & Bangalore which choreographs and holds dance workshops in India and Abroad.
We conducts classes and workshops in Salsa, Training for Students & Members of Insitutions, Dance & Movement for Actors and Salsa / Bollywood Training at Festivals.
Preeta Pereira is known for amalgamating dance, visuals, music, themes and thoughts into stories for stage, videos, advertisements and weddings.
I won the Mrs. Talented Award and Preeta had conceptualized my talent where we had narrated a skit on women empowerment. You know, it was such an emotional moment. The song was from the movie Roja and we had done a skit where in we showed this girl, who in the first stage, loved to be free and then reaches a second stage, where she was forced to get married.
“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic. It takes sweat, determination and hardwork”. I don’t know when I came to know this girl called Preeta Pereira, maybe some 22-23 years back. Till we finally got associated professionally in 2014. She joined me in my “Journey of creating thousand smiles” with just one phone call without any questions and without even wondering how we were going to manage the entire huge project which was my dream project.
Preeta can sometimes pull off the impossible. Having said, she’s a thorough professional, diligent and organized. Always a pleasure having her on the team, and we can’t wait to get her on board for our next gig.
Preeta has been of immense help to me in planning and executing some of the biggest Non-Fiction show promos in the south of whom I was the director. Preeta has helped me with the Casting and providing Creative inputs in my Ad Films / Promos. It is a pleasure to work with such a talented individual. Cheers to many more works ahead
My choreographer was Preeta and Shweta from PPDC (Preeta Pereira Dance Company). Preeta is someone very special. Kaushik and I know her since we were 16. We learnt our first dance steps in her class. So when Kaushik and I decided to get married, there was no doubt that we wanted Preeta and her team to choreograph us. The patience and dedication that Preeta and Shweta has put to teach us and our family and friends was incredible.
Preeta has been a powerhouse of energy from the first time I met her! She’s spontaneous, quirky and is so good with improvising as needed. Her talent speaks volumes and personally, I had an absolute blast working with her from rehearsals to the final shot!
